"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Jerri, your help in getting me signed on with
Neil and Studio B was the catalyst in getting this book published, and your professional help is
beyond any measure of gratitude that I can extend. Again, thank you both so very much.

Congratulations are in order! Chances are good that if you??™ve purchased this book you either
own or soon will own a Mac, and that is always a good thing. If you are using a computer for the
first time, your experience will be light years beyond that of your friend or family member who
started out with a PC. If you are a seasoned PC user, the Mac is so elegant and so simple to use
in comparison to what you??™re used to that the way you work with, and what you expect from, a
computer will change forever. Some people have a hard time understanding how someone could
get so excited about a computer, and their puzzlement is understandable. It??™s hard to get pumped
about the average PC, but we??™re not talking about that; we??™re talking about a Mac! I??™ve seen
many a person shrug their shoulders and laugh at the notion that all computers aren??™t equal, only
to have them sit in front of a Mac and watch them as they ???ooh??? and ???aah??? with each click of the
mouse.
