one of the mouse??™s buttons to perform an action. Your mouse has two buttons, though on a
Mighty Mouse (which is what comes with your iMac) it appears as if you have only one large
button. The standard clicking technique to select (highlight) an item that the mouse is pointing
at is to click the left side of the mouse (left-click) once with your index finger. To open an item,
left-click the item twice (double-click). To move an item, left-click the item and hold the button
down, pull the mouse in the desired direction to move the item to its new location, and then
release the mouse button. To see a menu of options for an item, click the right side of the mouse
(right-click) with your middle finger.
If you have a Mac mini, you have to purchase a separate keyboard and mouse, which are
obviously your primary input devices.
Although I recommend using Apple??™s line of keyboards and mice for use with your Mac
mini, you??™re not required to do so.
