Lost Already? Get Help from Your Mac
While your Mac is well known for being the easiest-to-use personal computer in the world, it??™s
still a computer, and by that very definition can still be complicated and confusing. Even the
geekiest of the geeks has to occasionally get help from someone somewhere, whether they will
admit it or not. While I obviously recommend that you consult this very book for most of your
basic questions, from time to time you may not have immediate access to your trusty How to Do
Everything: Mac book. For those tragic times when you find yourself in that predicament, your
Mac will come to the rescue! Apple has a handy help feature built right into the operating system
called ??¦ well, Help.
The menu of every application includes Help, and that??™s fine if you need to access information
about that particular application. However, if you just want general Mac Help, you must be in the
Finder, and then select Help from its menu.
Remember our earlier tip: to get to the Finder really quickly, just click the Happy Mac icon
on the leftmost side of the Dock.
