get the full effect of Cover Flow view, open a new Finder window and click the Applications
shortcut in the Sidebar. Click the Cover Flow view button in the toolbar and then click-and-drag
the slider button underneath the application??™s icons from right to left and left to right over and
over again. Go ahead; quit gawking and call the rest of the family to come check this out. We??™ll

Sometimes you may have so many items in a folder or disk that the results window can??™t
display them all. In those cases, the Finder adds a scroll bar and a set of up and down
arrows (see Figure 3-3) that allow you to move up and down the window to see the
entire contents of the window. If you are in Column view, you may even get scroll bars
and arrows below the columns, as shown in Figure 3-4. To use the scroll bar, just clickand-
drag it in the direction you want to go. To use the arrows, just click the arrow that
corresponds to the direction you want to go.
