Add, Move, and Delete Icons in the Dock
Most people use the Dock to access the applications they use most often. The Dock already has
icons for several applications in it by default. You can rearrange these icons by clicking and
dragging them to the position you prefer. Go ahead and try it. Isn??™t it cool how the other icons
slide over to make room for the icon you??™re moving? You can also add or remove application
icons to or from the Dock as you see fit. To add an application icon to the Dock, open the
Applications folder at the root of your hard drive and drag-and-drop its icon onto the Dock.
The original application remains in the Applications folder;
you??™ve only created an alias for that application??™s icon.
