You need to get to one certain window in one application,
but you have to hunt-and-peck through each window to find it. Then you have to start copying
and pasting elements from one document in one application to a separate document in another
application. Again, hunting-and-pecking is the order of the day. Calling it frustrating and timeconsuming
doesn??™t begin to cover what a pain in the neck this is. Once again, it??™s Mac OS X to
the rescue, this time with a little utility called Expos?©.

CHAPTER 3: Cruisin??™: Navigating Your Mac 57
You can prompt Expos?© to clear up all the clutter of multiple open windows in one of
three ways:
?– Press F9 Expos?© arranges all the open windows neatly on your screen so that you
can view them all at once. As you move your mouse over each window, the window
highlights and the name of the application it belongs to is displayed (see Figure 3-13).
Just click the window you want and it will be brought to the fore.
?– Press F10 Expos?© displays only windows that relate to the application you are currently
using (see Figure 3-14).
