If you
see a small arrow on the left or right side of the widget bar, there are more widgets installed than
can be displayed at once; just click the arrow to see the rest of the widgets.
To close the widget bar, click the circle on the left that contains the X.
Open and Close Widgets
To use one of the widgets in the widget bar, click its icon and it will open in the Dashboard. The
newly opened widget quite literally ???splashes??? onto the screen. You can typically click the outer
edges of a widget and drag it to whatever position on the screen you prefer it to reside. To close

an open widget, all you need do is click the X in its upper-left corner and it will appear to be
???sucked??? into oblivion. You see the X in the corner only when the widget bar is open.
Set Preferences in Widgets
Many widgets allow you to modify them to suit your needs. For our example, we??™ll use the
Weather widget.
Chances are pretty slim that the default city used in your Weather widget is the one you live
in, so you might want to change that.
