"How to Do Everything: Mac"

When
a friend or colleague watches you log onto your Mac, which user account picture would you
rather have them see: something cool like a lightning bolt shooting through the sky, or a picture
of the donkey from the old television variety show, Hee Haw? That one??™s a no-brainer.
To make this ???all-important??? decision, click the tiny picture preview at the top of the
Password tab. Apple has been kind enough to supply us with a few nifty pictures; feel free to
choose whichever one you like.
However, if you are the adventurous type, why not use your own unique picture? To do so,
click the ???Edit picture??? button to open the image-editing window (see Figure 4-7). From here,
you can either drag your desired picture into the picture window or click the Choose button to
browse your Mac for the file you want. You can resize your picture, if you like, by using the slider.

Another option is to click ???Take a video snapshot??? to use your built-in iSight camera (if your Mac
is so equipped) to take a picture of you. Once you??™ve decide which picture to use and have edited
it to your liking, click Set to use it for your account.
