Your ISP or network administrator provides the account type and email address. Click Continue
to advance to the Incoming Mail Security window.
3. The email account information provided by your ISP should tell you if you??™re required
to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and whether to use authentication. Enter this
information if required; if not, simply click Continue.

4. Enter your information for the Outgoing Mail Server. If your outgoing server requires
a username and password, be sure to check the Use Authentication box and input them.
Click Continue.
5. The Account Summary window shows you all the information you have entered for your
account. Click Create if everything is correct.

Before you attempt to create a new email message, take a look at the basic interface of Mail,
shown in Figure 5-1, so that you can get your bearings.
