"How to Do Everything: Mac"

For example, let??™s
say the aforementioned file sent to you by your colleague was created in Microsoft Word, but
you don??™t have Microsoft Word installed on your Mac. Luckily you have the formidable TextEdit
on your trusty Mac, which can open, edit, and create Word-compatible files. To open this Word
file in TextEdit, right-click (or CTRL-click) the file and hold your mouse over the Open With
menu; your Mac will present you with a list of applications that can open this type of file. Click
TextEdit and the Word document will open in TextEdit.

our hands too dirty with printing until Chapter 8. For now, simply knowing how to quickly print
a file will suffice.
1. Open a document, email, webpage, picture, or whatever you would like to print.
