"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Well, with a Mac,
that saying gets turned around a bit: your work should be at least as fun as your play!
Macs are just as capable crunching numbers in an office environment, in the research field,
in a science lab, or in a classroom as they are for downloading music, playing games, or editing
movies in your home. Macs are every bit the workhorses their PC counterparts are, but with a
twist: they??™re actually enjoyable to work with.
Apple has created a suite of applications designed to put your Mac to work, and together they
are rightly called iWork. Three applications are currently included in this suite:
?–  Pages A word processing program that combines ease of use with advanced graphics
and layout features.
?–  Keynote Helps you create some of the most stunning presentations you will ever see.
?–  Numbers Presents a new way of building spreadsheets, Apple??™s way, which
automatically means its gotta be pretty good.
iWork is included with every Mac on a trial basis, and can be purchased from Apple for only
$79 as of this writing. Find and open the iWork folder in your Applications folder (Hard Drive |
Applications) and you will find the icons for each of the apps in the suite.
