The Styles drawer button is located on the far left of the Format Bar (refer to Figure 7-4).
Click the Styles drawer button and the Styles drawer will ???pop out??? on the right side of the Pages
window. This drawer shows the available styles for paragraphs, character, and lists.
To use a Style, select the text you want to apply the style to, and then choose a style from the
list in the Style drawer. You can also apply Styles to text by clicking the paragraph style button or
character style button in the Format Bar and choosing a paragraph or character style.
Place Graphics and Pictures in Your Document
Nothing jazzes up a document like adding photos, audio, movies, and graphics, such as color
charts and boxes. They give a document instant ???pop,??? and up the reader??™s interest quotient
exponentially. Pages refers to these kinds of files as objects.
Adding these objects to a Pages document is ridiculously simple. Drag-and-drop an object
from your Mac??™s folders or Desktop directly onto the area of the document that you want it
placed.
