"How to Do Everything: Mac"

CHAPTER 7: I Work, You Work, We All Work with iWork 155
You can add audio, photos, and movies to any slide in Keynote, but if the slide already has
an image placeholder, you can drag-and-drop the media onto the placeholder from the Finder or
the Media Browser. Remember, when you add an item to a placeholder, the item automatically
conforms to the settings of the placeholder, such as its size and shape.
Slides can also contain tables and charts that you??™ve created in Keynote, Pages, or Numbers.
To add a chart or table from within Keynote, simply click the Charts or Table button in the
toolbar, choose the style you wish to use, and then edit it as needed using the Chart or Table
Inspector, respectively.
Play, Save, and Share Your Slideshow
Save your slideshow by pressing z-S or choosing File | Save. Give the slideshow a descriptive
name, browse your Mac for the location you wish to save the file to, and then click Save.
Play Your Slideshow
Before showing your slideshow to the world you want to make sure that everything is just right.
To preview your slideshow, or to present it to your audience, click the Play button on the left side
of the toolbar.
