The following list
describes the Numbers elements identified in Figure 7-8:
?–  Add a sheet Organize a Numbers spreadsheet by using multiple
sheets to group information, such as creating new sheets for each
day of the month so that the data can be viewed on a daily basis.
?–  Select view options Show or hide items that you choose in the main window, such as
rulers.
?–  Choose a Formula Select a precompiled formula, or create and edit your own
formulas by using the Formula Editor.
?–  Format Bar The Format Bar differs a good bit from those in Pages and Keynote. The
tools are specifically geared to the building of great spreadsheets and let you quickly
change commonly used formats, such as currency and percentage.
?–  Formula Bar Create and change formulas for the cell you are currently working in.
?–  Sheets pane Navigate the sheets in your spreadsheet easily by clicking the one you
need.
?–  Styles pane Select one of the preconfigured styles for your spreadsheet from this pane.
?–  Tables Choose the kind of table you want to use from the list.
