"How to Do Everything: Mac"

You now have a basic spreadsheet created from scratch. While this isn??™t the most detailed
tutorial you will find (Apple has many more in their documentation and on the Web), this gives
you an idea of how simple it is to use Numbers to create spreadsheets to organize all the data in
your life.
Summary
This chapter barely scratched the surface of what the applications in iWork can do for you. Covering
all the abilities of these three great apps is beyond the scope of this book, so you should certainly
explore them further.
I believe there??™s not a better office suite available in terms of price and functionality. You
may find the occasional Excel spreadsheet whose formatting doesn??™t quite translate perfectly
in Numbers, or text may not be centered correctly after importing a Pages document into Word
2003, but those instances will not be commonplace. Give Apple some time and those kinds of
issues will become almost extinct.
Happy iWorking, people!
