"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Different printers
may have different page size constraints that they must adhere to, and if they are
receiving conflicting messages from the generic constraints used with the ???Any Printer???
selection, your job may not print correctly.
Choose File | Print (or press z-P) to open the Print dialog box. Figure 8-4 shows the default
Print dialog box, which is simplicity itself, with only six options: you can choose the printer to
send the job to, choose a preset if you have created any, create a PDF of the job, see a preview
of the job, cancel the job, and print the job. In the interest of getting that first job out, click Print,
and your printer will print your designated output.
A preset is a group of saved printer driver selections that you change often, such as
media type and color model, for printing certain documents. For instance, if you print
a lot of photos, make the necessary changes in your driver settings for the type of
paper you will be using and whatever color-matching selections you like. Click the
Presets menu near the top of the Print dialog box and choose Save As.
