Layout and Color Matching
Click the TextEdit menu and you will see the options for the other panes of the Print dialog box
in the pop-up list. Select Layout to see that pane??™s options.
?–  Pages per Sheet Click this pop-up menu to choose how many pages of your document
will print on one side of a single sheet of paper.
?–  Layout Direction Select which direction to print the pages of your document. This
option is meant for use when printing multiple pages of a document on a single sheet of
paper.
?–  Border Use this menu to apply a border around the individual pages when printing
multiple pages per sheet.
?–  Two-Sided This menu allows you to duplex with long-edge or short-edge binding.
Click the Layout menu and choose Color Matching. This option allows you to let the Mac
handle the color for your document (ColorSync) or leave that up to the printer (In Printer).
ColorSync is the tool your Mac uses to compare and match color from one device to
another. If you are having trouble getting the color in your onscreen documents to
match the color on your printed pages, ColorSync may be of help to you.
