"How to Do Everything: Mac"

A cover page is used to separate print
jobs in an environment where many people use the same printer. You can use the Print Cover
Page options to specify whether you want to use a cover page and, if so, whether it should be
printed before or after your document.
CHAPTER 8: Start the Presses! Printing and Faxing Your Documents 185
Scheduler
To see the Scheduler pane, click the Cover Page pop-up menu and choose Scheduler. Scheduler
allows you to choose when your Mac will send a document to be printed. You can even specify
an exact time for it to print.
?–  Print Document Choose to print the
job now, print it at a specific time of day,
or hold the job in the print queue so that
you can print it at your leisure.
?–  Priority Set the level of importance for
scheduled jobs.
Manage Print Jobs
As ???Master of Your Mac??? you have the final say over the tasks it performs, including printing
documents. Even after you??™ve clicked the Print button and sent the job, you are still in control of
what happens to that print job.
After you click the Print button, a new icon appears in your Dock with a picture of your
printer on it.
