"How to Do Everything: Mac"

For example, you can create a
Smart Group that looks for cards containing your family??™s last name, and then every time you add a
card using that name, it will be added automatically to the Smart Group. Creating Smart Groups is
as simple as clicking File | New Smart Group (or clicking the card action menu and choosing New
Smart Group), and then entering the criteria for the group. There is a myriad of possibilities for
Smart Groups, making your life even that much easier to organize! Thanks, Apple!
Print Your Contacts
Address Book does a bang-up job of printing your contacts by allowing you to easily format the
contacts to fit different sizes and types of media. You can print your entire contact list, or just a
certain group.
To print your contacts, click the group you want to print, and then choose File | Print. Notice
the Style pop-up menu near the middle of the Print dialog box; this is where you can choose
the formatting styles for your contact list (see Figure 9-2). There are four style options: Mailing
Labels, Envelopes, Lists, and Pocket Address Book.
