or group.
Create Events for Your Calendars
You can add as many events as necessary to your calendars. Events can be anything you like,
from doctors??™ appointments to movie openings.
First, click the name of the calendar you want to create an event for. The view you use in
iCal determines how you can add an event. If you??™re in Day or Week view, simply click-and-hold
on the start time for your event and drag down to the end time of your event, let go of the mouse
button, and enter the event name in the text field provided. In Month view, double-click the day
of the event and enter a name for it in the text field.
To edit the event, click the event name to highlight it and choose File | Get Info (or press z-I)
to see the event??™s properties (see Figure 9-4). Here??™s a brief description of your choices:
?–  Location Enter a location for the event.
?–  All-Day Checking this box will make the event a day-long occurrence.
CHAPTER 9: Connected and Organized: Two Things Most of Us Are Not! 203
