Assuming that??™s the case, when you click Add Device, iSync
opens the Bluetooth Setup Assistant (see Figure 9-8), which walks you through connecting your
device to your Mac, as follows:
Be sure that your Bluetooth device is discoverable. Consult your device??™s
documentation to find out how to enable this setting.
1. Click Continue in the Introduction window of the Bluetooth Setup Assistant.
2. In the Select Device Type window, choose the appropriate device type (for demonstration
purposes, I??™m selecting Mobile Phone), and then click Continue.
3. The next window displays a list of devices the Mac has discovered, as shown in the
following illustration. Select the device you are trying to connect to and click Continue.

4. Click Continue again after your Mac gathers some information about your device. Your
Mac now attempts to connect, or pair, with your device, and displays a pass key. Enter
the pass key on your device when it prompts you.
