5. Choose which services you want your Mac to use with your device, and then click
Continue.
6. iSync opens the Add Device window, in which your device should be listed. Double-click
the device name to add it to iSync, and then close the Add Device window and quit the
Bluetooth Setup Assistant if it is still running.
If your device shows up in the iSync window, the setup is complete; if it does not, you need
to repeat the entire process from scratch.
Sync Your Mac with Your Device
Now that all the setup business is out of the way, let??™s do some syncing! An icon for your newly
added device is in the iSync window; click that icon to see your synchronization options for the
device, shown in Figure 9-9 and described next:
?– For first sync You have two options. Choose ???Merge data on computer and device??? to
combine the information from both devices. Choose ???Erase data on device then sync to??? to
remove any information from the cell phone or PDA and copy the Mac??™s information to it.
