To open a movie in QuickTime Player, choose File | Open File, browse your Mac for the
movie file, select it, and then click Open. You could also simply double-click the file from within
the Finder. Your movie opens in a QuickTime Player window like the one shown in Figure 10-1.
Notice the buttons at the bottom of the window; these buttons function exactly like those of your
DVD player or VCR.

Is full screen more your style? Choose View | Enter Full Screen (or press z-F) to fill your
Mac??™s display with glorious video. There are several other size options to choose from in the
View menu as well. Keep in mind that if the resolution of your file is not very high, your video
quality drops the larger you make the QuickTime Player window.
