Once done editing
your picture, you can create an album for it, print it, e-mail it to friends and family, or create
photo CDs. Apple has even included a great way for you to order bound photo albums online.

Understand the iPhoto Interface
iPhoto is designed to allow even the novice user to navigate without need of much help, as is
customary for Apple applications. Launch iPhoto by choosing Go | Applications in the Finder
and then double-clicking the iPhoto icon. When iPhoto opens, you are greeted with the main
window, as shown in Figure 11-1, which identifies the following elements:

?– Sources list Lists the sources of your photos, such as the main Library (holds all of
your imported pictures), albums, slideshows, books, cards, calendars, and Smart Albums.
?– Toolbar Enables you to edit pictures, e-mail them, play a slideshow using the pictures
in a particular source, order prints online, create a greeting card with the selected pictures,
and so on.
