?–  Merge (available only in Events view) You can merge, or combine, two or more
Events. z-click the Events you want to merge, and then click the Merge button. Click the
Merge button in the dialog box that opens, and then rename the newly combined Event.
?–  New Event (available only in Events view) Create your own Event by clicking the
New Event button.
?–  Split (available only in Events view) Events can be split into multiple Events. Open the
Event you want to split, click the photo that will be the beginning of the new Event, and
then click the Split button. Rename the new Event by clicking its caption, or subtitle.
?–  Edit Open a selected picture in Edit mode by clicking this button. See the ???Edit
Photos??? section for much more information.
?–  Rotate (available in Photos view and Edit mode) Sometimes photos taken in portrait
mode may appear sideways in iPhoto; use the Rotate tool to rotate the selected picture
counter-clockwise so that it appears correctly.

?–  Hide/Unhide (available in Photos view and open Events) Sometimes you may not want
to use a photo, but you may not be sure whether you want to delete it either.
