"How to Do Everything: Mac"

iPhoto makes this easy:
1. Choose File | Import to Library.
2. Browse your Mac for the individual picture, or a folder containing several pictures, you
want to import.
3. Select the single picture or the folder and then click the Import button.
Your picture, or folder of pictures, is now added to your iPhoto Library. It doesn??™t get much
easier than this, people.
Create Albums
Albums help you organize pictures in your iPhoto Library. Albums may be named for events
such as birthdays or holidays, or you might have an album dedicated to pictures of your antique
car. However you choose to organize your pictures, you??™ll be glad to learn about albums.
Creating albums also helps you to avoid having to browse your entire iPhoto Library to find that
one special photograph of Grandpa from Christmas two years ago.
To create a new album, choose File | New Album, give the album a name, and then click Create.
Your new album shows up in the Sources list, and you can begin adding pictures to it by
dragging them from the Library to the new album, as shown in the following illustration.
