"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Rearrange the order of photos in your slideshow by dragging and placing them from
within the photo browser near the top of iPhoto??™s viewing area.
Once you??™ve arranged the pictures in their correct order, you need to adjust the settings for
the slideshow by using the toolbar (see Figure 11-4).
The options in the toolbar are as follows:
?–  Play Plays your slideshow in full-screen mode.
?–  Preview Shows a preview of the slideshow in iPhoto??™s viewing window.
?–  Effect Enables you to make your color slideshow appear in black and white or with
sepia tones.
CHAPTER 11: Say Cheese! Managing Your Photos with iPhoto 233
?–  Transition Changes the effect used when your slideshow moves from one image to
the next.
?–  Ken Burns Effect Causes the slideshow to slowly pan over images, while simultaneously
zooming in or out during the transition, giving still images a sense of movement. This effect
is very popular and definitely livens up any procession of still images.
?–  Adjust Enables you to change settings for an individual image in the slideshow, such
as type and speed of the transition and the duration of time the image appears in the
slideshow.
