"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Even people who??™ve never touched a computer before know that an iPod totally revolutionized
the music world, hand-in-hand with iTunes of course. In this arrangement, the iPod is the sexy inyour-
face superstar and iTunes is the silent but equal partner who likes to work behind the scenes.
The two are inextricably intertwined, as designed by Apple. The iPod/iTunes partnership opened
the door for Apple to give a whole new segment of the world, Windows users, a gander at the
wonder and goodness of its software.
Before connecting your iPod to your Mac, know this: you can synchronize your iPod
with only one Mac at a time! This means that if you have synchronized this iPod with
another Mac and already have items on it, those items will be erased and replaced by
the items contained in iTunes on the second Mac. iTunes will prompt you before doing
anything to your iPod, but I thought it only fair to warn you now. This does not mean
that you can??™t use your iPod with multiple Macs. See the upcoming How To sidebar
???Use Your iPod with Multiple Macs??? for more information.
