View Your Imported Video
After your import is complete, it appears as a new Event in the Event Library. Click the new
Event, and the video you just imported appears in the source window, as shown in the following
illustration. Isn??™t it cool how it looks like a roll of film that??™s been stretched out? The ???film??? is
a clip of video; clips begin where you started recording and end where you stopped. These clips
contain all the images and sounds of the imported video; these images are called frames.

You can browse the contents of the video by dragging your mouse pointer over the clips; the
images in the clips move, and you can hear the sounds, too. The images are also displayed in the
viewer window. This technique is called ???skimming.???
You can play your video in its entirety by clicking a point in the video clip and pressing the
SPACEBAR or double-clicking the mouse button.
Play an Event in full screen by clicking this button under the Event Library window:
Press ESC to stop full-screen playback.
Select Video to Work With
Click an Event in the Event Library to see its video clips.
