Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a common wireless communications protocol typically used for connecting devices
that are in close proximity to your Mac, such as a cell phone, PDA, or even some printers.

This preferences pane allows you to configure your Bluetooth settings and displays a list of
devices that are connected or have been connected to your Mac.
?– Bluetooth Power Check or clear this box, respectively, to enable or disable Bluetooth
on your Mac.
?– Discoverable Check or clear this box, respectively, to specify whether other Bluetooth
devices can find your Mac.
?– Show Bluetooth status in the menu bar Check this box to place an icon for Bluetooth
in the menu bar, allowing you to easily and quickly make changes to your Bluetooth
settings.
?– Advanced Click this button to access optional settings for Bluetooth. The options are
all self-explanatory, as shown next.
