"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Trackpad Gestures are really helpful when using a MacBook. Checking the ???Use
two fingers to scroll??? box lets you easily scroll through long documents by placing
two fingers on the trackpad at the same time and dragging them together in the same
direction. Checking the ???Allow horizontal scrolling??? box lets you scroll from right to
left in your document using the same two-finger method.
Mouse
Use the options on the Mouse tab, shown next, to modify your mouse??™s tracking, double-clicking,
and scrolling speeds, as well as change your primary mouse button.

Bluetooth
There are so many Bluetooth options scattered about the System Preferences I??™m beginning
to think I??™ve just eaten a blueberry pie! But I digress??¦ This tab of the Keyboard & Mouse
preferences pane is for use with wireless keyboards and mice. You can see the signal level of
your Bluetooth mouse and keyboard connections, as well as set up a new device if needed. I
recommend checking the ???Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer??? box. This allows you
to wake your Mac from sleep just by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard.
