Back To My Mac
Here??™s probably the neatest option of the .Mac bunch. When enabled, Back To My Mac, shown
next, allows you to access your Mac from any other computer you use with your .Mac account.
Back To My Mac must be enabled on all the Macs you want to access and on the Mac you are
currently using. You can share files and services between the Macs (as long as you enable those
sharing options in the Sharing preferences pane) and use Screen Sharing to remotely control a
Mac from anywhere you have an Internet connection.

Network
The Network preferences pane is where you set up and maintain all of your Mac??™s connections to
the outside world. Bluetooth, Built-in Ethernet, Built-in FireWire, and AirPort are all configured
here. The details of all these preferences are covered in Chapter 15.
