?–  Streaming Speed Choose your Internet connection speed from this menu. QuickTime
automatically detects your network speed, but if you are experiencing problems viewing
video on the Internet, you can adjust your connection speed manually. If you don??™t know
your connection speed, contact your ISP for that information.
?–  Play Use this slider to adjust how quickly your Mac begins playing streamed video and
audio.
?–  Enable Instant-On Clear this check box to disable Instant-On if you experience jittery
playback.
Advanced
Sometimes media playback may not be as automatic as you would like it to be, or you may need to
make special settings for using QuickTime; the Advanced tab is the place to change these preferences.

?–  Default Synthesizer QuickTime plays back files using its own built-in synthesizer, but
if you have a different one you would like to use, change this option.
?–  Transport Setup Changes the protocol for your network connection, ensuring you get
the best performance possible.
?–  Enable kiosk mode Check this box to keep users from changing your QuickTime
settings and saving movies.
