"How to Do Everything: Mac"

?–  Enable Flash Check this box to allow QuickTime to play movies that use Adobe Flash
tracks.
?–  MIME Settings Every media file you download is assigned a MIME type, which tells
the Mac what kind of file it actually is. QuickTime handles many MIME types, but you
can add and remove MIME types to and from its repertoire by clicking this button.
?–  Media Keys Media keys are like passwords for accessing secured (encrypted) media
files. The supplier of the file should provide you with the necessary key to view or listen
to the file. Click this button to add media keys to QuickTime.
Sharing
If your mother is anything like mine (Hi, Mom!), she taught you to share with others from the
earliest you can remember. Your Mac knows how to share, too??”however, you need to be careful
about what and with whom your Mac shares, which is exactly what this preferences pane is for.
CHAPTER 14: Making Sense of the System Preferences 317
