Research Wireless Routers
Do your homework! Before you purchase any brand of wireless router, do research on the
Web and ask tech-savvy friends and family for their advice. Most wireless routers can get the
job done, but try to be as educated as possible about the brands and models available before
you hand over your hard-earned cash. The reputation of a company??™s technical support should
weigh heavily in your decision.
Be warned: companies with the biggest names don??™t always make the best products
(I speak from personal experience). Check out Apple??™s own AirPort products. They are more
expensive than the average router, but you know by now that you get what you pay for.
