share with.
Open the Sharing preferences pane (Apple | System Preferences | Sharing), shown in Figure 15-2,
to get started. Chapter 14 does introduce these settings, but we??™ll get a little more into them here.

Services
Services are functions that let your Mac use or allow various tasks, such as networking, printing,
and sharing. Mac OS X is capable of many such services, but the services we are concerned with
here are strictly for sharing different facets of the operating system. These services, listed in
the Service column of the services pane, are described next. You turn on a service by checking
its corresponding check box in the On column of the services pane, and turn off a service by
clearing its check box.
Screen Sharing
Enabling Screen Sharing allows other computers (only those that you grant access for) to remotely
view and control your Mac.
