"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Sites such as Dogpile (www.dogpile.com) query multiple search engines at once, which is a huge
help if you??™re having a difficult time finding information on a topic.
Apple has facilitated quick searching of the Internet by providing a Google search field in the
upper-right corner of the Safari browser window. If you are searching for sites on ancient Rome,
type the subject into the Google search field and press RETURN to be zipped away to Google??™s
search results page, which should look something like the following image.
CHAPTER 16: Deeper into the Internet Jungle with Safari 369
You??™ve just found more information on ancient Rome than the Romans ever had!
When searching the Internet, remember to be as specific as possible to ensure the most
accurate results. For example, if you want to find out more on the Coliseum, entering ???Roman
Coliseum??? would greatly narrow your search, as opposed to just typing in ???Rome.???
Summary
The Internet is an awesome tool the likes of which the world has never known. More information
and entertainment than you could ever hope to find in one location is waiting for you in cyberspace,
and Apple has provided the best browser in the world for you to discover it: Safari.
