Virtual machines don??™t quite run at your Mac??™s full speed, but they are remarkably close
in speed, and more than adequate for most tasks. While playing most new graphics-intensive
games may not work very well (this may be rectified as virtual machine technology
improves), ???normal??? computer work won??™t be a problem in the slightest.
A big plus to using Parallels is that there??™s no need to partition your hard drive. Virtual
machines can automatically adjust their size depending on the amount of data stored in
them. If you add an application, the virtual machine size increases; if you remove an
application, the size decreases.
Visit www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/ to get more information, and you can also
download a trial version of Parallels Desktop for Mac so that you can ???kick the tires??? before
purchasing.
