"How to Do Everything: Mac"

Once the new updates are applied, Software Update checks the servers again to see if there
are updates to your updates! This happens because one of the updates you??™ve downloaded may
cause your Mac to need another update.
If Software Update didn??™t find any new software, you see this message:
Click Quit to close the Software Update application.
Sometimes you are prompted to restart your Mac after you??™ve upgraded certain kinds of
software. Software Update notifies you if a restart is necessary to install some upgrades; you can
cancel the updates if you aren??™t ready to restart your Mac. After you reboot, the changes take
effect and your Mac thanks you for an update well done.
